About me
I've loved computers for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is doing random stuff on my old Windows XP computer, like using Resource Hacker to make the start button say my name. I felt like a true hacker, even though I was probably just screwing up my Windows installation.
That spark led me into software development. I started with Scratch in school, spending hours making cool stuff. The real fun began when I discovered SmileBASIC, which let me program on the 3DS. Yes, it's as horrible as it sounds, but I learned a lot by modifying popular projects and eventually making a few small apps and games of my own (shoutout SBS).
From there I moved into standard development: a little Python, full-blown C/C++, and even Lua. I also experimented with homebrew software and various older/embedded systems, which was really fun, even if a pain to debug. However, this is actually what got me into Linux, which I now daily drive on pretty much all my computers.
I've been on a bit of a pause lately due to college and my part-time job, but I'm looking forward to getting back into hobbyist projects soon. Please stay tuned!
About this website
This site is my online portfolio, a home for my projects and other web-based content I create.
Fun fact: this part of the website has NO JavaScript! Web-based projects hosted here will almost certainly use it, but I thought it'd be a fun challenge to build the site itself with just plain HTML and CSS.
